카타르에 본사를 둔 세계적인 대기업인 파워 인터내셔널 홀딩(Power International Holding, 이하 PIH)이 카자흐텔레콤(Kazakhtelecom JSC)으로부터 모바일 텔레콤 서비스(Mobile Telecom-Service LLP, 이하 MTS)의 지분100% 인수를 공식적으로 완료했다.
이번 인수는 지난해 2월 14일 도하에서 PIH, 카자흐텔레콤, 국부펀드 삼룩-카지나(Samruk-Kazyna)가 최초 계약을 체결하고 6월 4일 최종 매매 계약을 체결한 이후에 이루어졌다.

This acquisition follows the initial agreement signed on February 14, 2024, in Doha between PIH, Kazakhtelecom, and the sovereign wealth fund Samruk-Kazyna as well as the signing of the definitive sale and purchase agreement on June 4, 2024.
